Remote Legal Assistant/Legal Biller/Data Entry Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Needed for busy estate planning & guardianship firm. Please do not apply if you do not have data entry skills and are detail-oriented. The bulk of your initial work will be for legal billing requiring strong date entry skills. The position after that will be more substantive legal work. The position is per diem part-time meaning the work flow will vary based upon my needs and how you perform.

Being detail-oriented and reliable are absolutely necessary. The LA will perform regular administrative functions including but not limited to on-line data entry of billing invoices, e-filing of standard court documents and pleadings, following up with clients and providers, returning messages, ordering office supplies, organizing and developing a filing system for all incoming paper and electronic documents. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills are also desired.

Must have professional demeanor and be a positive communicator. Computer literacy, including a solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel applications are required. Demonstrated proficiency to focus on details, handle multiple tasks, and remain highly organized.

I am willing to train the person with the right attitude. The right attitude means someone who is reliable with a great attitude, a quick learner, trust-worthy and dependable. Being detail oriented and a quick learner are absolute musts. Must have working computer with reliable high speed internet. Immediate start preferred. Please do not apply if you do not have STRONG data entry skills and are detail-oriented. Position is part-time, remote with flexible hours.
